Thanks to the 2:1 glucose/fructose ratio, you can absorb up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour, which is what you may need during heavy exercise. The Maurten Drink Mix 320 and the Maurten Drink Mix 320 Caf 100 each contain 80 grams of carbohydrates per 500 ml. For best results, mix the entire content of a sachet with 500 ml of water. This sports drink contains no added flavourings, colourings or preservatives.

With or without caffeine
The Maurten 320 Drink Mix is available in versions with or without added caffeine. If you choose the caffeinated version, you get the equivalent of about 1.5 cups of espresso’s worth of caffeine per 500 ml bottle! The use of hydrogel technology significantly reduces the bitter taste of caffeine. So, if you are looking for an extra boost during your bike ride, choose a version with caffeine.

Maurten Hydrogel Technology
Maurten uses its own innovative hydrogel technology to make sports drinks even more effective. This means that natural thickening agents (seaweed and fruit fibres) have been added, which are activated in the stomach so you will not notice this while drinking. The drink then becomes a hydrogel in the stomach so that it can be transported easily through the body and, ultimately, absorbed most efficiently.
